ABOUT ME
Paris is a creator, event specialist, & model bringing her creativity to life.
Hi, I’m Paris — also known as lesweetpea. I’m a content creator, model, and freelance event specialist based in California. After years of sharing my life and passions online, I wanted a special place to share all the details that don’t always make it into my videos or socials.
At age 3, my mom introduced me to the amazing films, Princess Mononoke and Sailor Moon. It wasn’t until middle school that I realized all the things I loved — Nintendo, anime, and many of my video games — were connected to Japan, sparking a love for the culture and a dream to study abroad in Japan someday.
Since none of my friends shared these interests, I found my community on Tumblr, where I shared my passions and built a following of over 10,000 people. As questions about hair and makeup came in, I started making YouTube videos to answer them visually. Over time, this creative outlet grew into over 100+ videos, brand partnerships and a rewarding creative journey that continues to evolve alongside my other pursuits.
That creative spark stayed with me as I moved into college. When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming everything from an actress to a veterinarian—but by high school, my goals had started to shift. I had already launched my YouTube channel and knew I wanted to pursue something creative, even if I didn’t know exactly what that would look like yet.
I began community college as a Communications major because it felt like a flexible path that could lead anywhere. Around that time I knew I wanted to become bilingual, so I posted a video on Instagram asking whether I should study Spanish or Japanese—and to my surprise most people voted for Japanese, probably because of my terrible Spanish pronunciation at the time, and surprisingly natural-sounding Japanese — for a beginner. I gave it a try and immediately had a passion for learning the language. After excelling in four Japanese classes at my community college, I decided to apply to transfer as a Japanese major—including to my dream school, UCLA.
I got my associate’s degree from my community college, and started as a Japanese major at UCLA, diving deep into the language, literature, and culture. I took over 10 Japanese language classes during my time in university and studied abroad for two semesters at International Christian University in Tokyo, deepening my knowledge of the language.
My YouTube channel evolved alongside me, sharing content about getting into top schools, UCLA life, and my study abroad journey — becoming a space to connect, reflect, and inspire others interested in a similar path.
Welcome to my world — a cozy corner for creativity, connection, and celebration of the things that excite me.
